This week Mandy had the pleasure of talking to Jonny from @betterwithoutapp the world’s first alcohol free discovery app. It was launched in the UK in December 2020 and is now available in 4 countries. 

 

Jonny has a background working for technology companies servicing the hospitality industry and it was with the combined technology knowledge and personal experience of giving up alcohol that the idea for the app came about. 

 

His vision was to create a space for the millions of people who are sober or curious about changing their drinking habits, whether full or part-time. Having realised the number of drink options available and the growing range in both retail and hospitality, Jonny wanted to bring this together into one source.
